Abstract

The purposes of this research is to increase student’s social skill in IPS
Terpadu learning by applying the implementation of Pair Cheks Cooperative
learning model in subjek material social regulation in class VIII C SMP Negeri 2
Cilongok.
The kind of this research is classroom action research wich was conducted
in two cycles. The subjeck of this research is class VIII C SMP Negeri 2 Cilongok
with total number of students 31 consist 14 males and 17 females. Every cycles
consists planning,action, observation, and reflection. Data collection method used
was test and observation sheet. From the result of this research can be analyzed by
quantitaive data analysis technique.
The result of this research show that Pair Cheks cooperative learning
model can increase student’s social skills, that can be show from cycle is social
skills presentage 34,16% that increase 59,67% in cycle II . That mean the
students have high social skills.
