Abstract

This research aims to know the difference betweenconventional banking’s
financial performance before and after the global economic crisis as measure by
capital, quality assets, manajement, earnings, and liquidity conventional bank.
This research method in the form of ex post facto research, with samples
taken is 14 conventional banking company that publishesthe annual financial
report in the period 2006 to 2011.
The test results showed there was no difference in capital, assets, liqudity
and net profit before and after the global economic crisis. While there may be
differencesthe earnings margin before and after the global economic crisis.
Overall financial performance to conventional banking is still pretty well in the
global economic crisis.
