Abstract

This study aimed to test the effect of earnings and cash flow to predict the
probability of financial condision in the entire manufacture company are listed in
Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data obtained from company
financial reports from the year 2008 until the year 2010 are listed in Indonesia Stock
Exchange. The research was conducted the manufacture listed in Indonesia Stock
Exchange by employed 47 samples, with the independent variable are earnings and
cash flow, the financial condision as dependent variable, and then estimated with
logistic regression to see the impact of the dependent variable on the independent
variable.
The results of this study show that earnings and cash flow has a
significant influence in predicting financial condission that occurred in the entire
manufacture company. That earnings significant influence in 0,33, and the cash flow
significant influence in 0,28.
