The aim of the research was to improve the student’s creativity on geography for class X 4 SMA Ya BAKII 02 Gandrungmangu Cilacap through cooperative learning method of Numbered Head Together.
The type of research was a classroom action research (CAR) held in two cycles with 2 meeting in each. The research was held from April to May 2014 in SMA Ya BAKII 02 Gandrungmangu Cilacap of class X 4. Each cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting to improve the previous cycle and plan the next action. The subject of the research was 34 students (15 male and 19 female). The technique of the data was analyzed by qualitive descriptive and comparative.
The research resulted that the implementation of cooperative learning method of Numbered Head Together could improve the student’s creativity on geography for class X 4 SMA Ya BAKII 02 Gandrungmangu Cilacap. It could be seen from the creativity improvement of cycle I with 41,38% in the criteria of less creative to 50% in cycle II in the criteria of creative.
