Abstract

This research aims to prove the influence of working capital to total assets,
debt to equity ratio, net income to sales and gross profit margins simultaneously
or partially on profit growth. The population in this study using automotive
companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2008-2011.
The sampling method used is purposive sampling.
The analysis method used is multiple regression significance (α = 5%).
And hypothesis testing using the F test to test the simultaneous effect and t-test to
test partially.
These results of this showed working capital to total assets, debt to equity
ratio, net income to sales and gross profit margins simultaneously significant
effect on profit growth. While partially, working capital to total assets, debt to
equity ratio, net income to sales and gross profit margins no significant positive
effect on profit growth.
