Abstract

Civic Educatioon studied based on moral education that is make student character needed learn using the value clarification technique because to establish the characteristics of the students in dire need of VCT approach (Value Clarification Technique) because this approach can support the strengthening of investment values attitudes So the special learning needed to be done to help student in finding and determining a value which was considered good. This study was motivated to know the levels of civic skills by using ciwic education learning model based on list/matrix with conventional model. This study used a quantitative approach. The subject of this study was SMK Negeri 2 of Banyumas. The sample of this study determined by random sampling technique, sampling technique was taken randomly. So that the two classes could be obtained, those were as control class and exsperimental class. The amount of sample 30 student, from control class and experimental class. The data collection obtained by using classroom observation, pre-test and post-test, questionauires and documentation. Based on the result of this study it could be concluded that there were differences in civic skills, intellectual skill and partisipatoris skill in democration material between students of class who learned using the value clarification technique list/matrik with students who learned by usung conventional.
