Abstract

In developing countries, especially Indonesia, fish farming is in demand, in addition to
the extent of land that could be used, also because of the benefits. But despite these
efforts is in high demand and the government in this case Animal Husbandry and
Fisheries Department has launched a program that is very helpful for fish farmers, it is
can not be separated from the problem, one of the fundamental problem is an error in
the selection of fish feed, it is certainly going to disserve both sides, the fish are
malnutrition and the farmers will incur a loss because fish do not grow as expected.
Fuzzy database system using Tahani model can help to solve that problem. By using the
fuzzy database then users in this case fish farmers, will acquire the ease in finding
information of fish feed according to the nutrition content of raw feed and accordance
with the desired price by farmers. By using this system, the errors and inaccuracies in the
selection of fish feed can be minimized.
