The research entitled “The Study of Social Economic Condition of Street
Vendors in Randudongkal Pemalang” aimed to find out the economic condition of
street vendors in Randudongkal Pemalang.
This research used survey method, the population in this research was
70%respondents of the street vendors who sell along the Protocol street. The
sample takes was purposive sampling technique by taking 30 street vendors using
teens. The technique collectingthe data was by questionnaire, the data collected
consisted of the social and economic data. The social data were the education
level and the activeness is organization, the economic data were the asset
belongings (house, food, clothes), healt, income and revenue. The data analyzing
was gained by data frequency and scoring. The data gained during the research
were by the descriptive qualitative analysis data technique.
The result of the research showed that the most economic social condition
of the street vendors in Randudongkal Village of Pemalang Regency were in
medium criteria that was 21 sellers (70%), and the low economic social condition
was 2 sellers (6,67%) and the high economic social condition was 7 sellers
(23,33%).
