Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of CAR, ROA, LDR, NPL, and DPK through the amount of credit distributed on public bank in Indonesia listed at BEI in the period 2008-2011. This study uses independent variables measured at Capital Adequacy Ratio (X1), Return on Assets (X2), Loan to Deposit Ratio (X3), Non Performing Loan (X4), and Third Party Funds (X5) and the amount of credit distributed as the dependent variable.
This research use quantitative method. Data pooling use in this research is a combination among cross section and time series are got from 4 years annual report of 18 bank listed in BEI 2008-2011. The analysis method used statistical method which is double linear regression, t test and F test. T test is used to analysis the partial influence of independent variable to dependent variable. F test is used to analysis simultaneous of independent variable to dependent variable.
The results of this study indicate that Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Third Party Funds (TPF) have positive and significant influence to the amount of credit distributed, it is showed from t arithmethic > t table (4.098 > 1.671, 6.551 > 1.671 and 15.045 > 1.671) with the signification of the three variables 0.000 less than 0.05. Capital adequacy ratio (CAR) have positive and significant influence to the amount of credit distributed on, it is showed from t arithmethic > t table (1.460 ≤ 1.671) with a signification of 0.150 > 0.05. Non performing loan (NPL) have negative and not significant influence to the amount of credit distributed, it is showed from t arithmethic > t table (-1.478 ≤ 1.671) with signification 0.145 > 0.05. The result of F test shows F arithmethic > F table with signification 0.000 < 0.05. From the analysis result, can take conclusion that Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return on Assets (ROA), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Third Party Funds (TPF) have simultaneous influence to the amount of credit distributed.
