The study, entitled Social Problems in the Propagation of Peace My
Indonesia in TVOne Episode March-April 2012 (Semantic Study) aims to describe
the social problems found in the mission Peace My Indonesia in TvOne and describe
the characters contained in the educational mission Peace My Indonesia in TvOne.
The methodology this study include the type research, data and data sources,
as well as the research stage.This type qualitative research is descriptive.This research
data in the form of eight narrative events that fill the preachers preach Peace My
Indonesia in TvOne from March to April 2012.Sources data in this study is the
preachers who preach Peace My Indonesia fills events.The research was conducted in
three phases: phase data provision, data analysis stage, and stage presentation of the
results data analysis.In this stage the provision using data the method.In the data
analysis stage using contextual methods.In presenting the results of data analysis stage
using informal methods.
The results this research is found five social problems, namely poverty,
crime, family disorganization, violation the norms society (prostitution, delinquency
children, alcoholism, and homosexuality) and environmental concerns.The problem
with young people in modern society, war, population problems, and the bureaucracy
was not found in the preaching event Peace My Indonesia.While the nation's culture
and character education in the Propagation of Peace My Indonesia in TvOne there are
eight educational culture and national character, namely religious, honest, disciplined,
hard working, creative, patriotism, social care, and responsibility As for tolerance,
independent, democratic, flavors like know, the national spirit, recognize excellence,
or communicative friendly, peace-loving, fond of reading, and caring environment not
found in the preaching event Peace My Indonesia.
