Research have a title efforts increases ability writes poetry with nature beauty theme
passes visual audio media use in class student VIIB SMP N I Sokaraja school year 2010-
2011, aim to increase ability writes student poetry that is with nature beauty theme passes
visual audio media use in class student VII B SMP N I Sokaraja. After researcher applies
visual audio media use in study writes poetry in class student VII B SMP N I Sokaraja,
initially student felts difficulty in write poetry, but after visual audio media use, student is
creative and mobile in write poetry. Also felt glad and proud because student can write
beautiful poetry.
This Research is class action watchfulness with subject watchfulness entire class
students VII B SMP N I Sokaraja school year 2010-2011. This watchfulness process is done
two cycles, every the cycle consists of twice meetings. Each meeting 2 periods (2 x 40
minutes) to detect beginning condition so is done pre test, pre test used as base action in my
cycle. Afterwards done study process its contents about matter delivery writes poetry with
visual audio media use, and ended with post test my cycle. Then done reflection as basic for
cycle action II. After cycle II finished carried out, then ended with post test cycle II, and
ended with analysis and cycle overall reflection. Data collecting is done to watch closely
student action and teacher at the (time) of study process goes on. Data analysis is done with
quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative. Data shaped ability score writes poetry is
analyzed by using quantitative technique until gets mean value.
To detect beginning condition, so done pre test. Value that got moment pre test that
is student complete learn 23,5 % with mean value 59,6. After done action obvious ability has
written student poetry has increased that proved with value in post test my cycle is student
that complete learn 50% with mean value 65,59%. While in cycle II student achieve complete
85,29% with mean value 80,44, based on explanation on inferential that with visual audio
media use can increase ability write poetry with nature beauty theme in class student VII B at
SMP N I Sokaraja.
