This study attempts to collect data character simplisia and parameters
extract mangosteen standard skin. The parameters obtained testing specific extract
brown yellowish, a distinctive odor, a bitter taste, the extract viscous, test the
compound dissolved in water 7,43 %±0,768 % and in ethanol
9,842%±0,363%.The parameters specific testing non levels of abu 7,147
%±0,106%, the moisture content of 2,633%±1,431%. By the experiment up
impurities heavy metals obtained metal lead 0 g/kg, cadmium 0,29 mg/kg, arsenic
28,51μg/kg. Levels of arsenic not qualify. The result is expected to be a reference
for data simplisia character and standards mangosteen extract skin.
