Abstract

Analgesic-antipyretic are medicines that are often prescribed by doctors
around the world, however, the World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that
there are about 50% of all medicine use is not appropriatenes in prescribing. In
Indonesia, the medicine of analgesic-antipyretic circulation are numerous,
including a total of 110 brand medicine analgesic-antipyretic belonged free, 307
brand medicine analgesic-antipyretic belonging to the hard drugs, and 29 brands
of medicine analgesic-antipyretic including OTC medicines is limited. This study
aims to identify the quality of analgesic-antipyretic medicine use and Measuring
of the quantity analgesic-antipyretic drug use by the system Anatomical
Theurapetic Chemical / Defined Daily Dose (ATC / DDD) in the Public Health
Center. This type of research is observational with data collection methods
retrospectively from records medic patients in Public Health Centers in the period
January-December 2015. Sampling of this tudy are 69 medical records. The
results of the quality analysis of the use of an analgesic-antipyretics in Health
Center I Sumbang include appropriatenes of patients 87%, appropriatenes of
indication 93,1%, appropriatenes of medication 72.5% and appropriatenes of
dose 100%. The results of the analysis of the quantity of use of analgesicantipyretics
in Public Health Center I Sumbang who have excessive doses or not
in appropriatenes with DDD who have been determined by the WHO that is
pacacetamol (85.37%) meanwhile, analgesic-antipyretic appropiatenes with DDD
who have been determined by the WHO ie antalgin (14.15%) and tramadol
(0.47%). The use of analgesic-antipirertc in the public health center I Sumbang,
this quality still no improper usage and for quantity still use that exceeds DDD
WHO.
