The study was aimed at knowing Corporate Governance (outside directors
proportion), the number of management, board of commissioner, companies’ age)
toward financial performance that was using proxy by ROA. The population was
Bank Perkreditan Rakyat in Central Java that listed on Directory of Bank, Bank
Indonesia and website of Financial Service Authority in the period of 2012-2014.
The samples were 30 banks as based on the characteristic of collecting sample by
using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear
regression.
The result showed that outside directors proportion affected negatively and
significantly toward the financial performance, the number of management
affected negatively and significantly, board of commissioner did not affect
positively and unsignificantly toward the financial performance and the
companies’ age did not affect positively and unsignificantly toward the financial
performance.
