This research was entitled The Devalopment of Tobacco Famers’ Lifestyle in Cemoro Village Wonoboyo District Temanggung Regency in 1994-2014. It aimed : 1) to reveal the area condition at Cemoro Village, the life style of the tobacco farmers, 2) the portrait of the tobacco farmers’ life, 3) the life style of the tobacco farmers Cemoro village. The research method used in this reseach was historical research method consisting of 1) heoristic that was by gathering the past traces by observing then interviewing directly to the Pondoh farmers. 2) critic that was reviewing the historical resources by testing the truth in order to get the valid dataa about Pondoh Plants and the social economic change at Gumingsir Village, 3) interpreting that was interpretinng the data gained to be the facts, 4) historiography that was arranging the history story The result of this research was that 1) Cemoro Village had the area of 495,315ha with the totl population of 1.870. Most of them are tobaccofarners, 2) the famers were previously vegetables famers but then due to the time development and improving needs.they changed to be tobacco farmers, it cost more expensive than vegetables. It affected to the farmers’succes, the lifestyle of the farmers and teh family had changed. 3) their lifestyle now had been like those living in cities area either in housing, house facility, consumption, and clothes or daily style. They had better than in tha past times.
