The losses of culture at the present democratic make teenagers act
anarchists and acts without the use of appropriate norms mandated Pancasila and
UUD 1945. Erosion of democratic culture is certainly very worrying, because the
youth as the future generation of students and is expected to become a leader who
has a high sense of nationhood. The purpose of this research is to investigate the
implementation of Civic Education in the formation of democratic attitudes of
students. Researchers then detailing into three sub-objectives of research is to
investigate the implementation Civic Education in the formation of democratic
attitudes of students, the constraints faced in the implementation of Civic
Education students' democratic attitudes and efforts made to overcome obstacles
in the implementation of civic education student democratic attitudes. This
research used descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Based on these
results, the general conclusion, that Civic Education has a role in the formation of
democratic attitudes of students. This is evidenced by the Civic Education
materials that affect the formation of democratic attitudes of students as based on
Pancasila and UUD 1945, values noble struggle and culture of the nations aimed
at the realization of democratic attitudes based on national and state life directly.
