SAP2000 is the software most widely used by technical people as a tool to analyze the structure precisely and quickly a construction. The conventional steel is a wooden replacement framework that is designed with high tensile strength.The type of research conducted is to analyze the design of horses commonly used then compared with the results of alternative design analysis using SAP2000 software version 18. Then calculated the comparison of material needs.From the result of SAP2000 structure analysis of version 18, alternative design has advantages compared to the attached design that fulfill the P ultimate load <strength truss, while also more efficient in terms of material requirement.
