Abstract

compressive.
The method used an experimental method. Specimen using a mixture of 1
cement : 6 sand. Each group made a test specimen, 10 for compressive strength, and
5 for water absorption.
The results Baseh Village (upstream) to obtain water absorption 5.74% and
compressive strength 183.5 kg/cm2 obtained belong to the quality of B, Karanglewas
Lor village (center) obtained for water absorption 8.37% and and compressive
strength 117 kg/cm2, obtained belong to the quality of D, the Village Patikraja
(downstream) to obtain water absorption 9.53% and compressive strength 89 kg/cm2,
obtained belong to the quality of D. From upstream to downstream water absorption
the paving blocks showed are larger, inversely proportional to the compressive
strength of paving blocks are getting smaller.
