Abstract

The research aimed to find out the dose of FMA affecting the juvenile
growth and the threshold of Pb onion (Allium ascalonicum L.), to find out the
effect of contaminated growing media of Pb heavy metal to the juvenile growth
and Pb onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) threshold, and to find out the interaction
between different doses of FMA and contaminated growing media of Pb heavy
metals affecting the juvenile growth and Pb onion (Allium ascalonicum L.)
threshold. This research was conducted in Karangsari Village, Kembaran Subdistrict
of Banyumas Regency from June to August 2017.
This was a factorial experiment using Completely Randomized Design
(RAL), which consisted of two factors. Factor 1 was Growing media
Contaminated with Pb (L), namely L1 = soil sample from Wanasari Village land
I, L2 = soil sample from Wanasari Village land II, L3 = soil sample from
Wanasari Village Land III, L4 = soil sample from Sisalem Land I, L5 = soil
sample from Sisalem Village Land II, L6 = soil sample from Sisalem Land III, L7
= soil sample from Kupu Land I, L8 = soil sample from Kupu Land II, L9 = soil
sample from Kupu Land III. Factor 2 was Mycorrhizal dose (M), namely: M1 =
50 gram/pot and M2 = 100 gram/pot. The treatment was done in 27 combinations
and repeated for 3 (three) times, so that 81 experimental units were obtained. F
test was used to analyse the data. From F test results, it showed that there was a
significant effect from the treatment tested then it was continued by testing with
the Smallest Significant Difference Test (BNT) at 5% threshold.
The results showed that the dosage of biological fertilizer FMA only
affected significantly on total observation variable of root length. The best
treatment of M2 was the treatment of 100 gram /pot FMA dosage. While on the
treatment of growing media contaminated with heavy metal Pb have no
significant effect on all variables observed. Similarly, the interaction treatments of
different biofilms dosage of FMA with contaminated growing media of Pb of
heavy metal do not affect all observation variables significantly.
