Abstract
The research entitled The Effectiveness of Creative-Productive Learning Model
towards The Improvement Students‟ Learning Activity on Grade X in Learning
Process of Biology in SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto was carried out in the even
semester of academic year 2015/2016. This research aimed to know the
effectiveness of creative-productive learning model towards the Improvement
students‟ learning activity on grade X in learning process of Biology. The samples
were taken through cluster random sampling technique. Class X IPA 4 is used as
experiment class and X IPA 3 as control class. The data were analyzed through
Pearson Product Moment Correlation test through SPSS 16.0 program. The result
of correlation test on students‟ learning activity shows a significant correlation. It
is known the significance level is 0,000 in observing activity; 0,000 in identifying
activity; 0,020 in explaining activity; 0,003 in relating activity; 0,008 in
classifying activity; and 0,022 in communicating activity. In conclusion, the
creative-productive learning model is effective towards the improvement students‟
learning activity on grade X in learning process of Biology in SMA Negeri 2
Purwokerto.
