Islamic Dormitory Development of Madrasah WathoniyahIslamiyah (MWI) KebaronganVillage KemranjenDistrict Banyumas Regency Period 1980-2013. The aim of the was to know: a. history of Islamic dormitory of Madrasah WathoniyahIslamiyah, b. development of Islamic dormitory of Madrasah WathoniyahIslamiyah, c. explanation of the effort of Islamic dormitory of Madrasah WathoniyahIslamiyahin improving education‟s implementation quality in dormitory. This research used 4 stages, as follow (1) heuristic or source finding, (2) source criticism or verification, source critic counsisted two stages which were extern critic and intern critic, (3) interpretation, (4) historiography. The result of research was as follow: 1.) Islamic dormitory of Madrasah WathoniyahIslamiyah was one of the Islamic dormitories in Kemranjen district Banyumas regency. Located on 37.656,1 m2(2.755,7 floor tile), 27 Km from Purwokerto. The distance between center of government and district was 1 Km or around 400 M from Kebarongan – Sumpiuh and ±10 minutes if it takes on foot. The dormitory was built by K.H Muhammad Habib in 1878 to share Islamic tenets in Kebarongan village. The leadership was taken by his offspring from generation on generation .2.) Islamic dormitory of Madrasah WathoniyahIslamiyah had well developed in terms of dormitory‟s facility and its madrasah since 1980-2013. The leadership system, teaching system, and facility were also well developed. 3.) the existence of Islamic dormitory of Madrasah WathoniyahIslamiyah brought good impact towards society‟s social life in Kebarongan village, since the Islamic education quality in both Islamic dormitory and madrasah had increased.
