information technology can improve performance and enable various activities
can be implemented quickly, precisely and accurately. That makes people
dependent on information. The development of information technology also
affects the world of health as in the world of Pharmacy, that is with the emergence
of online pharmacies. However, online pharmacies can also have an impact on
drug abuse and narcotics purchases getting easier. The purpose of this study is to
know and analyze differences in perception and level of knowledge between
health and non health students towards online pharmacies. The type of this
research is descriptive with cross sectional approach. The number of respondents
186 was chosen by accidental sampling, where the respondents were divided into
two groups: 83 health students and 83 non health students. This study uses the
normality test first to know the normality of a data. In variable perception
normally distributed data then tested T-test Independent sample which result pvalue
= 0,594. And on the variable level of knowledge data is not normally
distributed then the test is Mann Whitney test, the result is 0,240. So it can be
concluded that between the two variables in both groups there is no significant
difference.
