Abstract

The popularity of mobile devices as the modern technology has offered a new way in language learning. This research attempts to know about students’ attitude toward the use of mobile devices in learning process. The research methodology used in this research was the descriptive survey. The data was collected by using questionnaire and interview. A questionnaire survey has been devised and administered to a sample of 57 students of English Education Department of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. The result of analysis clearly show that the attitude from respondents toward mobile learning were positive indicated by the total mean that reached 3.97 scale. Moreover, the biggest mean found in behavioral aspect that reached 4.14 scale. The majority of students believe that mobile devices could help them in learning the target language
