Abstract
This research aims to know the effect of intimacy with peers on learning motivation for students Group B at TK UMP Pembina Kembaran-Banyumas Even Semester in the Academic Year of 2016-2017. This research belongs to correlation research with quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive statistic analysis. The population of the research was the students Group B at TK UMP Pembina; 57 students. The data were collected using questionnaire and documentation. The validity test was calculated using product moment formula in SPSS 16.0 and reliability test used alpha formula. The hypothesis was tested using coefficient correlation product moment formula. The result of the research showed that there was positive effect between intimacy with peers on students' learning motivation, shown by the score of rstatistic > rtable, thus ha was accepted. The score of rstatistic was 0,864 and rtable was 0,261. It can be concluded that 0,864 > 0,26, thus ha was accepted which means that the higher the intimacy with peers,the better the students' learning motivation. There was effective contribution of variable intimacy with peers shown by R square 0,747 or 74,7% on learning motivation. Meanwhile, 25,3% was effective contribution from other factors which were not studied.
