Abstract

The aim of the research was to find out the effectiveness of Ludo game in teaching
grammar. The method of the research was quasi-experiment. The subject of this
research was the second grade students of SMK N 3 Purwokerto. There were 32
students in TBU 2 as experimental class and 32 students in TKK as control class. Test
was used to collect the data. To analyze the data the researcher utilized t-test. After
the analysis, this research showed a significant improvement in the students’
comprehension of grammar especially passive voice. It was supported by the t-test
result which was higher than t-table (1.970 > 1.669 ). In conclusion, teaching
grammar using Ludo game was effective.
