Abstract

The roads in Banjarparakan village as the main route of citizens' activity has
experienced landslides twice in 2014 and 2016. The study was aimed at finding
out the slope stability on Banjarparakan-Menganti road with Fellenius method
(analysis of stability with fellinius method that considers style working on the leftright
side of any fellenius which has zero resultant in the perpendicular direction
to the landslide) and Geostudio application (slope stability analysis software with
Slope/ W menu using land property data). The results of the analysis revealed that
the secure number at Point 1 (Sta 0 + 75 at coordinates 7 & ordm; 32'22.55 "S and
109 & ordm; 9'58.87" T) was F=1,57 with Fellenius method and F = 1,522 with
Geostudio Application method, the secure number at Point 2 ( Sta 0 + 175 at
coordinates 7 & ordm; 32'24.60 "S and 109 & ordm; 9'58.93" T) was F= 1.6 with
Fellenius method and F = 1.635 with Geostudio Application method, the secure
number at Point 3 (Sta 0 + 275 at coordinates 7 & ordm; 32'26.50 "S and 109 &
ordm; 9'58.95" T) was F = 1.44 with Fellenius method and F = 1.487 with
Geostudio Application method. The slopes on Banjarparakan-Menganti road were
declared as stable (safe) with F & gt; 1.25.
