Abstract
Heavy metals likes manganese (Mn), magnesium (Mg), lead (Pb) copper
(Cu), cadmium (Cd) and aluminum (Al) are metal with atomic numbers 12 until
82. The heavy metals considered dangerous for health whenever the body get over
concentrate. The goal of this research is to find out the samples of the water and
the soil around the manufacturing cement industry in Cilacap be found heavy
metal contamination Mn, Mg, Pb, Cu, Cd and Al over the limit which is permitted
by Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001. The research method used a nonexperimental
method. Soil and water samples were analyzed by atomic absorption
spectrophotometer that begin with the wet destruction process. The results showed
the field water samples obtained Mn, Mg, Pb Fe, and Cd such as: 0,024; 83;
0,051;0,285;0,0007; 0,0009 and 150 ppm. The results showed the river water
samples obtained Mn, Mg, Pb Fe, Cu, Cd, and Al such as: 0,051; 141,83; 0,037;
0,301; 0,0007; 0,0005 and 226,66 ppm. The results showed the well water
samples obtained Mn, Mg, Pb Fe, Cu, Cd, and Al such as: 0,025; 86,41; 0,048;
0,308; 0,0007; 0,0007; and 136,66 ppm. For field soil samples for heavy metals
Mn, Mg, Pb, Fe, Cu, Cd, and Al such as: 16,16; 123,33; 0,238; 1290,26; 0,0026;
0,6221; and 10,13 ppm. For industry soil samples for heavy metals Mn, Mg, Pb,
Fe, Cu, Cd, and Al such as: 18,6; 100,8; 0,429; 1172,23; 0,0019; 0,5759; and
11,33 ppm. The highest average level in soil samplesis Mg metals and water
samples in the metal Fe. While for the five other metals just within the normal
limits.
