Abstract
The study aimed to determine the type, level of road damage and score of the
road conditions. This research was conducted through surveys that was done by
measuring the length, width, within each type and extent of damage. After all data
collected, the method of Pavement Condition Index was applied. The research
showed that the most type of damage that existed at Purwokerto – Ajibarang roads
namely Patching End Utiliti Cut Patching 64,77%, Swell 15,92%, others between
0,35% - 4,61% (Block Cracking, Pinggiran jalan runtuh vertikal, Aligator Cracking,
Bump and Sags, Edge Cracking, Weathering) and the condition index value (PCI)
Purwokerto – Ajibarang was90,68% in “EXCELLENT” ratting.
