Abstract

This research aimed to find out the correlation between job conflict and
job ethos on employee of police in Bumiayu area.
Population of this research were 63 person, all of them are employee of
police in Bumiayu area who still active doing their job. Sum of sample be put by
population technic where all part of population been research sample, there are
63 respondences. Data collected by job conflict scale and job ethos scale. The
validity of job conflict scale are from 0,446 until 0,981 and there were 7 aitems
not valid, and job ethos scale are from 0,249 until 0,857 and there were 5 aitems
not valid. Test data Normality shown that all scale have normal distributed. Data
analyzise by product moment correlation.
The result of analyzing data has correlation value rhitung(-0,354) dan
rtabel(0,244) or ( rhitung> rtabel) with degree significant 5%. The sesult of the
research shown that there was a negative correlation between job conflict and job
ethos on employee of police in Bumiayu area. Its means that if job conflict was
higher so job ethos the employee of police in Bumiayu area will lower, and
decision through other if job conflict was lower so job ethos the employee of
police in Bumiayu area will higher.
