Abstract
The research entitled "History and Architecture of Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap in 2002-2016 "is aimed at knowing (1). History of Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap, (2). Architecture style of Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap, (3). The Development of Islamic Da'wah in Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap. This research is done using historical method including 4 stages: (1) Heuristic which is a tracking of historical sources, (2) external critics (verification) which is to determine authenticity (sources originality and external critics to assess the extent of data credibility, (3)Interpretation to explain the obtained data, (4) historiograph (history record) which is an activity of writing description based on facts in order to get meaningful explanation. The results of thisresearch are (1) Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap was established in 1776 by Kyai Kali Khusein and Kyai Kali Ibrahim, (2) Architecture style of Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap has 2 types, Islamic and Javanese, (3) the Development of Islamic Da'wah in Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap makes the mosque more famous, there is weekly Islamic discussions and Masjid Agung Darussalam Cilacap has complete facilities such as internet access for jamaah (worshipers).
