Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of student achievement and learning
achievement of materials to know natural resources, economic activities and
technological progress in the district / city and province with the method of
learning Problem Based Learning using the internet. The type of this study was a
quasi-experiment consisting of two research subjects between the experimental
class and the control class. Subjects in this study were students of grade IV A and
grade IV B SD Negeri 1 Dukuhwaluh which amounted to 24 students each class.
Instruments used in data collection is by using the test / evaluation, student
activity questionnaire, observation sheet for teacher activity and student activities.
Descriptive data analysis using Problem Based Learning method using internet.
pThe result of the research shows that it can increase students' curiosity and
student's learning achievement in the material of natural resources, economic
activity and technological progress in regency / city and province. It can be
proven to the students 'curiosity marked by the increasing scale of students'
curiosity attitude from the given questionnaire data. From the data obtained
satisfactory results and certainly affect the results, Because thitung> ttable or
2.155> 2.013, then Ha accepted which means the model of Problem Based
Learning using the internet influence on the participation of student learning in the
IV class IV subjects. Student achievement is evidenced by the increase of the
average grade value of 76.25 with the percentage of students' learning mastery of
87.5% in the Control class, and in the experimental class obtained grade average
grade of 79.58 with the percentage mastery learning students of 87 , 5%. From the
above percentage using the reference average of the class so that although the
presentation is the same but the average Experiment class is greater than the
average of Control class that is 79,58> 76,25.
