Abstract
Research entitled "Effect of Compound Fertilizer Pellets From Organic Materials Legum Cover Crop (LCC) Against the Growth and Yield of IR 64 Rice Varieties In The Rainy Season" is aimed to determine the effect of compound fertilizer pellets from organic materials Legum Cover Crop (LCC) on growth and yield IR 64 rice varieties, and to get the best of compound fertilizer pellets from organic materials Legum Cover Crop (LCC) to plant growth and yield of IR 64 rice varieties. Research is conducted from December 2010 until April 2011. Research was conducted use the planting box measuring 40 cm long, 30 cm wide and 12 cm high and planting medium use the soil. Research conducted on farms in Karang Soka’s village District Kembaran, Banyumas This research uses a complete randomized block design, where there were six experimental treatments and repeated four times. The treatments tested consisted of P0 (no fertilizer / control 1), P1 (NPK conventional / control 2), P2 (compound fertilizer pellets from Sesbania sesban), P3 (compound fertilizer pellets of Salvinia natans), P4 (compound fertilizer pellets from Calopogonium mucunoides), P5 (compound fertilizer pellets of Crotalaria sp.). All treatments are tested give significant effect on the vegetative growth includes plant height (except for plant height at 14 days after planting) and the number of productive tillers, and the generative growth or results includes panicle length, grain number per panicle, weight of 100 grains of rice per hill and the weight of dry grain harvest (GKP) per pot. Compound fertilizer pellets from Sesbania sesban give the highest influence on plant height, number of productive tillers, panicle length, grain number per panicle, weight of 100 grains of rice per hill and the weight of Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) per pot.
