Abstract
To get the labours that are able to compete is not an easy thing. Health and safety at Work (K3) must be considered as the most important dealing with the labors’ welfare. This research is aimed to find out whether there was an effect implementation of health and safety at work (K3) toward the performance of the construction project labors of PT. Reka Esti Utama Semarang. The implementation of health and safety at work had an important role in forming the labors’ attiude in doing their duties. If a company implements it well, the company will get the benefits from it. The data used in this research was from questionnaire (primary) and some observation of the labors of PT. Reka Esti Utama Semarang. The analysis technique used was by double linear regression using hypothesis test, namely F and T test. The result of the research showed that simultaneous and partial free variables consisting of X1-X6 or top management commitment (X1), the procedure and rules of K3 (X2), labors’ communication (X3), labors’ competence (X4), labors’ environment (X5), and labors’ participation (X6) influenced significantly toward performance of the construction project labors (Y) that was 95,2 %, the rest 4,8 % was influenced by the variables which were not related with this research. The most influencing variable was top management commitment (X1), with 12.470
