This study aims to examine the effect of economic value added (EVA) and
profitability ratios of stock prices in manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock
Exchange. The method used in sampling is purposive sampling, with criteria that
have been manufacturing company go public, isued annual financial report every
year of observation, company that makes a profit, listed company has a stock price
data, in the financial statements are included in interest expense and income tax.
The analytical method used is linear regression test with significance level (a)
0.05 (5%).
The results of this study concluded that the Economic Value Added (EVA)
is not significant positive effect on stock prices. Return on Assets (ROA) was not
significant positive effect on stock prices. Return on Equity (ROE) has a
significant positive effect on stock prices. Basic Earning Power (BEP) was not
significant positive effect on stock prices. Net Profit Margin (NPM) is not
significant positive effect on stock prices.
