Abstract

This research is performed in order to test the influence of the variable
CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio), NPL (Non Performing Loan), NPM (Net Profit
Margin), ROA (Return On Assets), BOPO (Biaya Operasional pada Pendapatan
Operasional, LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio) toward earnings growth. The
population in this research are all of banking firsm listed in Indonesian Stock
Exchange 2005-2009. Total sample in this research are 15 banking firms that
selected with purposive sampling. Data analyzed with classic assumption test and
hypothetical testing with multiple regression models.
Based on the results of hypothesis test simultaneous (F test) shows that the
CAR, NPL, NPM. BOPO. LDR affected the significant toward earnings growth.
The result of hypothesis test partially (T test) shows that NPL variable affected the
significant toward earnings growth. Whereas, variable CAR, NPM, BOPO, and
LDR not affected the significant toward earning growth.
