Pectin is component from Creeping Cincau that can used as
disintegranting because have the quality develoving in water. The aims of this
research were to know the ability of creeping Cincau pollen as disitegranting an
atablet and to know the influence of the diference of Cincau pollen concentration
toward physical characteristic of antalgin tablet.
Antalgin was formulated in to Three formulation with the variation of
cincau disintegranting as follows, formula I 2,5%, formula II 5%, formula III
7,5%. Tablet were made by wet granulation. Dry granulation were tested its
weight variations hardness, Friabilities an disintegration time of dry granule was
tested and the result of physical characteristic of granule test and tablet were
analyzed by one way Anava.
The result of this research showed that cincau pollens was not able to be
used as a disintegranting because addition was longer of concentration
disintegration time of tablet was longer. The bigger additional concentration of
disintegranting, the smaller hardness, the smaller friabilities and the longer the
time to disintegration tablet.
