The research of Drug Related Problems identification in therapy of Post
Sectio Caesaria Patient in Panti Nugroho Region Maternity Hospital of
Purbalingga in 2010 has been studied. The aim of this research was to explore
percentase of the Drug Related Problems (DRPs) included: need for additional
drug therapy, unneessary drug, wrong drug, innadoquite dosage, over dosage,
and drug interaction.
This research was descriptive by using retrospektive metode to collecting
data. Data were obtained from patients medical records. The analysis of data was
conducted by comparing the data with standar book such as the Monthly Index of
Medical (MIMS) 10 th edition 2010/2011 and “Informatorium Obat Nasional
Indonesia 2008” (IONI). The results of the research show that the DRPs in the
from Need for additional drug therapy (10,39%), Unneessary drug (16,88%),
Wrong drug (2,59%), Innadoquite dosage (22,08%), Over dosage (44,16%), Drug
interaction (0%). From 77 post section caesaria patients, according to the results
of this research concluded that there are many mistakes which will cause problem
in post section caesaria treatment.
