The study was animed testing the effect of public stock ownership,
leverage, firm size and profitability toward corporate social responsibility
disclosure. Corporate social responsibility is companies responsibility for
economy, environment, employment, employment safety, human right
performance, society and product.
It was quantitative research. The populations were mining companies
that listed on Indonesia stock exchanged in the period of 2010-2014. The samples
were the mining companies of mineral and metal sector that listed on Indonesia
stock exchanged in the period of 2010-2014. The samples were taken by
purposive sampling technique. There were eight monitored samples. The data
were analyzed by using multiple linier regression.
Based on the result, it can be seen that (1) public stock ownership did not
affect positively toward corporate social responsibility disclosure, (2) leverage
affected positively toward corporate social responsibility disclosure, (3) firm size
did not affect positively toward corporate social responsibility disclosure, (4)
profitability affected positively toward corporate social responsibility disclosure.
