Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara
self-compassion
dengan regulasi emosi pada pasien
diabetes mellitus
tipe 2 RSUD dr. R. Goeteng
T
aroenadibrata Kabupaten Purbalingga. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian
ini adalah adanya hubungan antara
self-compassion
dengan regulasi emosi pada
pasien DM tipe 2 RSUD dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Kabupaten Purbalingga.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dihitung berdasarkan
perolehan skala
self-compassion
dan skala regulasi emosi. Subjek penelitian
sebanyak 73 pasien DM tipe 2 rawat jalan. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas dan
reliabilitas menggunakan
alpha cronbach
, menunjukkan bahwa untuk skala
self-
compassion
, dari 60 aitem diperoleh 50 butir aitem yang valid, dan 10 aitem yang
gugur, dengan koefisien validitas yang bergerak dari 0,346 sampai 0,756 dan skor
reliabilitas sebesar 0,917. Skala regulasi emosi yang terdiri dari 60 aitem,
diperoleh 48 aitem yang valid, dan 12 aitem yang gugur, dengan koefisien
validitas yang bergerak dari 0,314 sampai 0,843 dan skor reliabilitas sebesar
0,938. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi
product moment
.
Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh r = 0,640 dengan P = 0,000 (P<0,01). Hal
ini berarti bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara
self-compassion
dengan regulasi emosi pada pasien
diabetes mellitus
tipe 2 di RSUD dr. R.
Goeteng Taroenadibrata Kabupaten Purbalingga.
