Abstract

Education there has not been accommodating diversity, consequently raise the
walls of exclusivism for children with special needs. Therefore, no wonder the
Children with Special Needs tend to live alone and put their feelings. So that,
values and moral education is essential for fostering the attitude of each student.
The values and moral education it self schooled Civics lessons are taught through
the mat.
In connection with these findings, the researchers tried to uncover the factual
conditions of the role of learning in instilling civic and moral values to students in
junior high ABK Putra Harapan.
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of learning in instilling civic
and moral values of students ABK, implementation and moral values in teaching
Civics, problems encountered, the efforts made by teachers in dealing with the
obstacles faced in civic learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative
approach with a descriptive analytical method. The data was collected through
observation techniques, interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies.
Subjects in this study is the Civics teacher, student and head of the junior son of
Putra Harapan Purwokerto.
Based on the results of the study revealed that students' learning behavior ABK
Civics help foster and strengthen values. Civics in the implementation of learning,
beginning with determining learning strategies on student crew, which is done by
identifying the characteristics of students by teachers Civics and crew in a variety
of learning methods. The obstacles encountered in the learning curriculum to
appropriate Civics is a regular student, the shortage of professional teachers,
feelings of shame and emotional instability in the student crew and a lack of
facilities and infrastructure. In overcoming these obstacles, carried out by
increasing profesonalitas Civics teacher, giving students the motivation and
approach to the crew, as well as more cooperation with the parents ABK.
