This research aims to learn many of problems of social-economy that are
faced by famer in relating with the diversion of farm land for the interest of tourism
industry of Owabong and examine many of the accomplishment of social economy
that has been conducted by famer in the diversion of farm land for the tourism
industry of Owabong. Location of research is conducted in the Village of Bojongsari
and Kajongan, Sub district of Bojongsari, Regency of Purbalingga, province of
Central Java.
Method of research uses the case study. Taking sample is by using the
technique of purposive sampling. population of research is 41 people. Respondents
come from the Village of Bojongsari with 9 people and the respondents from the
Village of Kajongan that have been interviewed are 15 people. Thus, the total of
respondents of research are 24 people.
The result of research shows that there is the type of social economy problem
that is faced by respondents. The social problem is consisted of wide of productive
land for the agriculture business which it is getting decreased, the source of main
income as the famer is getting weak, the wide of farm land ownership is getting
decreased and disappeared. The other problem that is faced by respondents is related
with the depressed feeling because the arraignment of transaction by investors, the
difficult to open the other business, the change of life style which is becoming more
consumerism. Many of social problem that is experienced by respondents that is
related with the decrease of the income from the agriculture sector. The fulfillment
of total primary food needs (rice) from their agriculture production is getting
decreased, to buy the other new land in the other place with the high price but sell
with the low price because the fertility of land is decreased.
The accomplishment of social problem that is faced by respondents it can be
accomplished by buying the new land in the neighbor land, increase the land fertility,
looks for new business, respondents buy the new land in the other place, lives with
the family members, accept the condition, uses the result of the land purchasing to
open the new business and tries to keep looking for the extra income. Many of
accomplishment of economy problem that has been conducted by respondents that
respondents keep trying to fulfill the needs of life, looks for the extra income and
increase the quality of land to be productive by giving the fertilizer.
