Campur-Campur Talk Show either obeyed (persuance) or broken (infraction).
This research type used descriptive qualitative type. This research data were performers‟ discourses of “Campur-Campur” Talk Show which was presented at 19.00. The sources of data were taken from either presenters or guests‟ discourses of “Campur-Campur” Talk Show. In this research, the reseacher analyzed six episodes of “Campur-Campur” Talk Show which were presented in December 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 18 2013. This research used three stages that were collecting data, data analysis, and presentation of data analysis. In collecting data, the researcher used listening method; by using base technique that was tapping technique, and by using uninvolved conversation listening technique as the advance technique, recording technique, and writing technique. In data analysis stage, the researcher used pragmatic comparative method and informal was used as data analysis presentation.
Based on the research analysis, the result showed that: in six episodes of “Campur-Campur” Talk Show in December 2013, there were 23 pursuance of uttering politeness principle with details 6 (six) maxim pursuance of approbation, 3 (three) maxim pursuance of modesty, 5 (five) maxim pursuance of agreement, ang 9 (nine) maxim pursuance of sympathy. These showed that performers of “Campur-Campur” Talk Show did many maxim pursuance of sympathy to appreciate and respect the guests.
Moreover, these were 98 infraction of uttering politeness principle which contained 6 (six) maxim infraction of tact, 7 (seven) maxim infraction of generosity, 54 (fifty four) maxim infraction of approbation, 18 (eighteen) maxim infraction of agreement, and 2 (two) maxim infraction of sympathy. The performers of “Campur-Campur” Talk Show did more politeness principle infraction that was praise maxim, this was caused to creat funny effect or joke.
