Abstract

SYA’BANI ROBBY CAHYA INSANI. ImunostimulantActivity and TLC Profile of Patikan cina Herb Ethanolic Extract (Euphorbiathymifolia) to the Macrophaga phagocyitosis of Mile Mice are Infected by Staphylococcus aureus.
Under direction of DINIATIK and SABIKIS.
Background : Infection deseases was the most frecuenct desease founded in actualy in human. Imunostimulant was urgent to increase the imune system of body from attach by infection deseases. Patikan cina herb contains flavonoid and tannin that had imunostimulant effect.
Objective : The aims of this research was to prove that Patikan cina herb ethanolic extract have imunostimulant effect represented by macrophaga phagocytosis activity, and determine the second metabolic compounds contained in ethanolic extract of Patikan cina herb.
Methods : This study used six groups treatment of positive control (Levamisol Hidroclorida dose 2,5 mg/KgBb, Stimuno dose 9,1 mg/KgBb), solvent control (CMC Na 1%) and three extract dose (35,45 mg/KgBB, 70,9 mg/KgBb, 141,8 mg/KgBB). The plant compounds analized used Tin Layer Cromatografy.
Result : The result of analysis with one way anava, the phagocytosis ablity of each groups looked at the number of macrophaga which latex phagocyt,F calculate > F table (60,359 >.3,478). Anava of latex was phagocyted’s data, F calculate > F table (87,654 > 3,478). There are were any significant deference phagocytosis in each groups treatment. Test of Tuckey HSD result showed Levamisol dose 2,5 mg/KgBb and Stimuno dose 9,1 mg/KgBb dose 9,1 mg/KgBb weren’t deference phagocytosis ablity with Patikan cina ethanolic extract in doses 70,9 mg/KgBb and 141,8 mg/KgBb. Tin Layer Cromatografy showed that flavonoid and tanin compounds contained in Patikan cina herb ethanolic extract.
Conclution : Patikan cina herb ethanolic extract have imunostimulant effect to macrophaga phagocytosis activity. aextract doses 70,9 mg/KgBb and 141,8 mg/KgBb was equaly with phagocytosis activity potency of Levamisol Hidroclorida dose 2,5 mg/KgBb, Stimuno dose 9,1 mg/KgBb. Patikan cina herb ethanolic extract contains flavonoid and tanin.
