Facebook as a social network is one of popular networks around adolescent
especially students of university. Completed by many features like fane page and
group, facebook is recently not only used as social media but also as space for
sharing information or even as space discussion. This research is aimed at knowing
the correlation between facebook as social network and information engineering
student’ achievement of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto.
Students’ participations during their study are able to affect students’
achievement. In this university, the students not only study from their lecturers but
also they have to be actively involved in exploring the science and their ability. The
facilities in this university are provided to make the students easier to acces the
information. It is resulted in making the students more active in studying by using the
technology.
