A study of land utilization changing and landslide in Pekuncen was aimed
to know the changing and the occurrence of landslide before and after the
changing. A study of land utilization changing used secondary data that was map
and field check to investigate the validity of obtained data.
The changing of land utilization occured in ten villages of Pekuncen subdistrict
that were: Petahunan, Semedo, Karangklesem, Candinegara, Tumiyang,
Pasiraman Lor, Banjaranyar, Karangkemiri, Krajan, and Glempang. There was
no changing as the request of relocate was insatiable. Most of land utilization
changing occurred was used as residence area therefore increased the occurrence
of landslide.
