Abstract

Essentially, the retrieval of words and anxiety are factor that affect writing skill.
This research aims to determine interrelatedness retrival of word and writing
anxiety of writing skill exposition text to the senior high scholl students at
banjarnegara. This research using correlation method with research design ex post
facto.
This research was conducted in senior high school at banjarnegara. The population
in this research as many as 2030 students with 336 respondents that taken using
random cluster sampling technique.
The research instrument used questionnaire with a scale of 1-4 for the variable
retrival of word and writing anxiety, while to know the capability to produce
exposition text was done through writing test.
The result of this research by taking α = 0.05 show the data that: 1) retrival with
writing skill exposition text to the senior high school did not have an
interrelatedness meaningful or significant. The conclusion was made by reference
value of p calculate the partial correlation is grater than value of p Sig 5% (0.05) ie
0.129> 0.05. 2). Writing anxiety of writing skill exposition text to the senior high
school did not have an interrelatedness meaningful or significant. The conclusion
was made by reference value of p calculate the partial correlation is grater than the
value of p Sig 5% (0.05) ie 0.445> 0.05. 3).retrival of word and writing anxiety of
writing skill exposition text to the senior high school students at Banjarnegara did
not have an interrelatedness meaningful or significant. The conclusion was made
by reference to that value of p calculated multiple correlation is greater than the
value of p Sig 5% (0.05) ie 0.222> 0.05.
The result of the research assessed as an anomaly. The result of the research shows
that data obtained and analyzed produce different data from the theory as the basis
of the implementation of the research. A mistake of the result in the research is the
instrument of the research. The instrument of the research is a questionnaire for two
variables (X1 and X2) are not really able to record information from respondents,
so that information is received and processed as data of the research is not
considered valid, so in this research occured deviation result of the research
(anomaly).
