ARIS PERMADI the Escherichia coli sensitivity of urinary isolates from patient with urinary
tract infection (UTI) in the Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital toward some
antibiotics under guide of Retno Wahyuningrum, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt dan Suparman, S.F.,
M.Sc., Apt.
Background: Based on the patient medical record in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto
Hospital, the average of UTI’s population in 5 years lates from 2009 to November 2013 was
626 patients. There are many reports of urinary isolates of Eschersicia coli resistant to UTI’s
sufferers toward antibiotics which is used in UTI’s teraphy.
Objective: The objective this research is to test the sensitivity of Escherichia coli bacteria
which come from urinary isolates from patient with UTI’s in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo
Purwokerto Hospital.
Methods: This is a descriptive observational research using a cross sectional it is to provide
an overview of how the sensitivity of urinary isolates of Escherichia coli from UTI’s patients
in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital. This research war carried out by dissc
diffusion method, the urine sample taken from patient in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo
Purwokerto Hospital over a periode 3 mounths, from February 24th to May 30th 2014. This
research used midstream urine.
