Abstract

The study entitled "Development of Instructional Materials Based Folklore
Literature Banyumas For Student Class V SD" This research aims to develop
teaching materials based literary folklore Banyumas in a way that is easy and
understandable student. The purpose of this study are: (1) describe the needs of
students and teachers to the teaching material of literature based on folklore
Banyumas, (2) develop prototype instructional materials literature based on folklore
Banyumas for students of class V SD and (3) to validate prototype teaching materials
of literary-based story Banyumas people for fifth grade students of elementary
school.
The results of the study are as follows. First, the product developed based
on folklore literature titled Banyumas for students of class V SD. Second, prototype
teaching materials are prepared based on the needs of students and teachers. Third,
teaching materials assessed and validated based on aspects of the content,
presentation material, language, and kegrafikaan. Materials literary folklore
Banyumas based on the content aspect obtained an average score of 3.94 to the
category of "good", presentation of the material aspects of obtaining an average score
of 4.37 to the category of "good", aspects of language obtained an average score of
4.65 with the category of "very good", and facet kegrafikaan obtained an average
score of 4.12 with the "good" category. The score is accumulated and resulted in an
average score of 4.27 with a percentage of 85.4% viability. Thus, the module is
declared unfit for use.
Research and development is to use research and development (R & D)
level 1 proposed by Sugiyono. The stages of research R & D level 1 is a preliminary
survey, the initial prototype development, product validation, product design, as well
as the revision and improvement of the design. Data obtained from the questionnaire
needs of students and teachers to the teaching materials based literary folklore
Banyumas, interviews, and data product validation results. Data obtained from the
questionnaire needs of students and teachers are analyzed, classified, and described,
while the analysis of test data validation by expert lecturers and teachers were
analyzed with descriptive analysis that follows the shape Likert scale, tabulating all
the data obtained on every aspect, calculating the mean score average, and the
average score change into categories.
