Abstract

This research aimed to know the income contribution of housewives as
mosquito net convection workers towards the level of migrants’ family prosperity.
This research was conducted in Sumampir Village Rembang Sub-district
Purbalingga Regency.
The method of this research used survey method. The population of this
research was 47 housewives who worked as mosquito net convection workers and
whose husbands worked as migrant traders. The technique of sampling in this
research was through total sampling. The technique of data collection used
questionnaire to get the data of people’s income and family’s prosperity. Product
moment correlation and t-test were applied to analyze the housewives’ income
contribution toward the level of family’s prosperity.
The research results showed that there was significant effect between
housewives’ income contribution and the level of family’s prosperity with
correlation value was 0,320 and t-test value was 2,265. The housewives’income
gave 10,2% contribution towards the level of family’s properity.
