Measuring quality of life of Anogenital cancer patients, it was necessary to
consider the effect of cancer treatment and see the effectifness of patients therapy.
The aimed of study to describe the quality of life in patients with anogenital
cancers who undergoing a single treatment or in combination, and determine is
there any difference in the quality of life based recevaid treatment of anogenital
cancer in RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto using questionnaire
European Quality of Life-5 Dimensions (EQ-5D) 5L. This study is descriptive
analytic using cross sectional approach, sampling were done by total sampling of
anogenital cancer patients in RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto
from 2010 until 2015, and the EQ-5D 5L questionnaire conducted by Home visit.
There is 17 anogenital cancers patients with the most of treatment type is
chemotherapy-operation (35,29%), the average age of respondents are 48,2 years.
Overall anogenital cancer and its treatment negative result on the quality of life of
patients. Most effected result the quality of life anogenital cancer patients is pain /
discomfort (52,94%), followed by the dimension of daily activities (47,05%), the
dimension anxiety/depression, the dimensions mobility (41,17%), and self-care
dimension (17,64%). The average value of EQ-VAS anogenital cancer patients are
69,48 (SD=25,43). Quality of life anogenital cancer patients in RSUD Prof. Dr.
Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto showed significant difference in patients
receiving chemoradiation and surgery treatment, compared with other types of
treatment.
